It’s that time again: time to actually make good on last year’s New Year’s resolutions that you’ll start planning this year’s holiday party early, i.e. before Thanksgiving! While we too are still excited with end of summer/early fall highlights such as football season and the leaves changing, it’s also when we – specifically Star Events – launch into full winter holiday event planning mode.

In the blink of an eye the festive holiday season will be upon us, and we are already receiving requests to host special family gatherings and corporate holiday parties, as well as for event catering. Did you know? For each event, Star Plaza offers the following services and amenities:
• Black satin table skirts
• White or ivory table cloths
• Choice of 10 napkin colors, including red and green
• One mirror and two votive candles, per table
• Professional Event Planner to assist with all aspects of your event

Adding to the appeal, if you book a lunch or dinner event by October 31, 2010, to take place between November 22 and December 24, 2010, then you have a choice of one of the following upgrades. Event must be booked Sunday through Thursday.
• Two complimentary guestrooms, on the night of your event
• Chef’s choice of two passed hors d’oeuvres, per person on the night of your event
• One glass of champagne for all guests 21 and over, on the night of your event

For intimate holiday gatherings, Star Plaza offers a variety of distinctive private dining options. T.J. Maloney’s Authentic Irish Pub with its festive coziness is a guest favorite during the holidays, as it channels the warmth and joy of the season. Private dining rooms accommodate up to 60 guests. For a completely different experience, the Atrium Bar & Lounge, overlooking our indoor pool and waterfall oasis, will transport you away from the chill of winter and make you feel like you’re in the tropics. Also in our Atrium, seven deluxe, private cabanas are available for a little winter reprieve and can accommodate up to 10 guests per cabana.
