White Lodging Puts Its Best Foot Forward as Our Company’s Donations to the “Back on My Feet” Organization Reach $100,000!

White Lodging has been stepping up for a great cause … literally! In support of the organization “Back on My Feet” (BOMF), which uses running as an incentive to get homeless people into job training and independent living, White Lodging – our parent company – and our fellow associates launched fundraising efforts over Labor Day weekend with an internal “Sneaker Day,” during which all employees were allowed to wear sneakers to work upon making a $5 donation.

The results were spectacular – and certainly got the efforts moving! Over the weekend alone, our White Lodging associates raised over $27,000, which was then matched by the Bruce and Beth White Family Foundation to total a $50,000+ donation. But, the efforts didn’t stop there! Our associates continued to raise money in unique ways, such as barbecues and happy hours, as well with a walk/run held in Chicago. Over 55 White Lodging associates and Beth White participated. Below is a photo of two of our enthusiastic – and creative! – BOMF runners/supporters.

As a result of all efforts, last week, White Lodging unequivocally achieved $100,000 in donations, making our company the largest single contributor to the “Back on My Feet” organization!

Congrats to White Lodging and ALL of our amazingly giving and dedicated associates for “stepping up” for this important cause! The amazing results have given us hope that next year we can raise even more for BOMF – and are eyeing a goal of $500,000.
